Plan for the Ban!

Beginning January 24, 2008 ALL yard waste is banned from the New Castle County Cherry Island Landfill. We Are Here to Help with Kinsman's Large Compost Bin. Go Green and use your yard waste to make great compost for your flower and vegetable beds.

 

 


 

Rosa x 'Pink Double Knock Out'

An abundance of double, hot-pink flowers making it suitable for many garden spaces. Blooms all summer!

 

 

 

 

'Empress of China' Dogwood

An evergreen Chinese Dogwood! Clouds of white stars envelope the mature plant for 6-7 weeks in mid summer atop of dark green foliage. In late summer, the flowers are replaced with strawberry-like fruits!

 

 

 

'Edmee Gold' Honeysuckle (Lonicera)

Add a touch of gold to your shade garden with this cascading Honeysuckle. The perfect plant for tricky slopes. 'Edmee Gold' throws layer after layer of golden branches made up of tiny, delicate leaves.

 

 

 

Acer palmatum 'Shirazz'

Unique in its leaf color, 'Shirazz', is a complex blend of lovely pinks, greens and creamy-white with new growth emerging as a striking, crimson-pink, with autumn tones of scarlet.

 

 

 

Gaillardia 'Commotion Frenzy & Tizzy'

Enjoy the incredible number of blooms all season long! Gaillardia Commotion 'Frenzy' is deep burgundy at the base of the petals, which fade to rich red. Flutes are tipped in vibrant yellow.

Gaillardia Commotion 'Tizzy' has deep russet-red blooms, which open to flowers that range from red to rosey/terra cotta, outlined with a hint of yellow.

 

Hypericum 'Mystical' Series

Now you can enjoy Hypericum that were exclusively bred for the cut flower industry in your own garden! Beautifully colored fruits in red, yellow, orange, and black on perfectly branched varieties for your enjoyment. Fill your fall garden with interest and your floral arrangements with lovely colored hips!

 

 

Philadelphus 'Snow White Sensation'

An old-fashioned favorite, a new Mock Orange hybrid that boasts 2" double flowers born in clusters that bloom abundantly in spring and then again in summer. A charming impact and a wonderful new addition to the landscape border!

 

 

 

Weigela 'Shining Sensation'

A blooming machine, 'Shining Sensation's' pink-funnel-shaped flowers cover the plant in May and June and then sporadically through summer. The shiny, burgundy foliage appears as though it has been polished, and contrasts nicely with the pink flowers.
