It delights with sweetly scented foliage and rosy pink spikes that seem to last forever - the calyces are the same color as the petals and last long after the flowers have dropped. This is the most compact of the group, with a tight rounded habit. Great for container growing!

Homeowner Growing & Maintenance Tips for Anise Hyssop

Grow in full sun and average to dry soil with good drainage. Drainage is key for winter survival and this Agastache will not tolerate winter wetness. Low maintenance - works beautifully in containers!

Interesting Notes

Agastache comes from the Greek words for "much" (agan) and "grain stalk" (stachys) in reference to the flower spikes. Flowers are attractive to bees and butterflies. Leaves may be used fresh or dry to flavor teas.
